Who is responsible
Zondax AG is the controller for the processing described here.
Zondax AGDammstrasse 166300 ZugSwitzerlandContact for data protection matters: dataprotection@zondax.ch.
What we process, and why
- Visiting the Site: the data every web request carries — IP address, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system, time — is processed in our hosting provider's server logs to deliver pages and to keep the Site secure and available. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Joining the waitlist: the email address you submit is processed to manage the waitlist and to contact you about access to Prio. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; the emails themselves rest on consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and each one carries an unsubscribe link.
- Writing to us: the data you choose to include in a message is processed to handle that message. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Analytics: only if you consent in the cookie banner, visits to the Site are measured. Without that consent, no analytics runs. Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, withdrawable at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer. The cookies involved are listed in the cookies policy.
Zondax AG is a Swiss company; the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies to this processing alongside the GDPR.
Recipients
Personal data is processed on our behalf by service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement: a hosting provider, a waitlist provider, an email delivery provider and — only with your consent — an analytics provider. We do not sell personal data. Beyond these processors, personal data is disclosed only where the law requires it.
Transfers
Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland and the EEA. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as recognised for transfers from Switzerland.
Retention
Personal data is kept no longer than the purpose it was processed for requires, unless a statutory retention duty applies. Waitlist entries are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Server logs and analytics data are deleted under the retention settings of the respective provider.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR and the FADP, you can request access to your personal data and a copy of it, its correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, and a portable copy; you can object to processing based on legitimate interest; and you can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Requests go to dataprotection@zondax.ch. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, in the EEA the authority of your place of residence or work.
Automated decision-making
None. Nothing on the Site makes automated decisions about you or profiles you.
